Goma: Where Hope is Reborn in the Midst of Trials

The African Enterprise DRC team, made up of the team leader and a training partner, carried out a mission in Goma from June 5 to 11, 2025.

The goal was to launch a Trauma Healing Initiative in partnership with local churches and to provide humanitarian aid to displaced people and those in difficult situations.

For several decades, Eastern DRC has been plagued by armed conflicts, and in January, the violence escalated, triggering a major humanitarian crisis and displacing many families.
This cry for help did not leave African Enterprise unmoved.

Despite the challenges, the team arrived safely in Goma—a living testimony of God’s faithfulness.
The local community warmly welcomed the initiative.

After two intense days of training, participants testified that they had regained inner peace following times of hardship.
The testimonies collected confirm that this initiative has brought a renewed breath of hope, peace, and resilience.
